On January 26th, Peter Kapourales performed in the OMEA Solo and Ensemble event and earned the highest possible rating of “Superior”. The Solo and Ensemble event allows high school students throughout the state to peform for judges and earn ratings and get feedback. Peter has been preparing for college auditions for the last year and was no stranger to high pressure solo settings. He performed Estudio by Francisco Tárrega and recieved many glowing comments from the judges. Peter attends Sycamore High School and studies guitar with Joel Greenberg in the CMA Guitar Department.
