Recreational piano classes at Cincinnati Music Academy are specifically geared for the adult hobbyist. Students will:
- Learn to play by chords
- Learn to read music
- Be surprised by how much they learn at the first class
- Learn in an enjoyable, stress-free environment
- Learn both familiar tunes and original compositions
- No recitals, only celebratory social events!
- Enjoy small classes, between 4 – 8 students
Fall quarter begins Sept. 9. Classes meet one hour, once a week. Registration deadline is Sept. 3. Registration forms are available here, on the bulletin board in our main lobby, and on our website.
Fall Schedule: Adult Recreational Piano Classes
Piano 101: Tuesdays, 6:15 – 7:15 (For true beginners. If you’ve never played piano, this is the class to start with.)
Piano 101: Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:30 (For true beginners. If you’ve never played piano, this is the class to start with.)
Piano 201: Mondays, 8-9pm (1-2 years. prior experience)
Piano 400: Mondays, 1:00 – 2:15 (3+ years prior experience)
Piano 400: Tuesdays, 7:45-8:45pm (3+ years prior experience)
Piano 400: Thursdays, 1:30 – 2:30 (3+ years prior experience)
Piano 400: Thursdays, 8:00 – 9:00 (3+ years prior experience)
Functional Music Making: Monday, 6:45 – 7:45 (must know chords & how to read music)
