Dan Qiao has enjoyed a vibrant career as a concert violinist and chamber musician performing in concerts around the world, including in China, Germany, France, Poland, Netherland and the USA. Ms. Qiao has performed as a solo and chamber musician at such prestigious festivals as the Beijing Modern Music Festival( Beijing, China), Baroque Summer Festival (Cincinnati, OH), Mostly Modern music festival (Saratoga Springs, NY), Euro Music Festival (Halle, Germany), Rencontres Musicales Internationales des Graves (Bordeaux, France), and the Jubilee International Music Course (Opole, Poland), Lunigiana International Music Festival (Italy), Brevard Music Festival (NC, USA) and Splendor Summer Academy(Amsterdam, Netherland). She played chamber music recital with legendary violinist Maxim Vengerov at Rencontres Musicales Internationales des Graves in 2019. She also played in Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center (NYC).

Dan Qiao
Dan has received many honors and awards for her work as a solo and chamber musician, including 1st prize in chamber music at the Beijing International Harp Music Festival, 1st place and top scholarship at Three Arts Scholarship Competition, and is a multi-time winner of the CCM concerto competition. She is also 2 times honorable Mention Winner of a Doug Davis Endowment Performance Award. She won the Platinum Medal of Quebec International Music Competition, FIRST PRIZE Winner of International Music Competition “Bonn and Salzburg” Grand Prize Virtuoso, Platinum winner of Global International Music Competition, Third Prize of Medici International competition, Italy LIMF Concerto Competition Special Prize And Full Scholarship of LIMF 2022, First Prize winner of 2021 Summer Music Competition and American Music Competition of Charleston international competition, First Prize and Special Awards Outstanding MusicalityWinner of Bach International Music Competition Baroque category, etc.
In 2022, She won the honorable Mention Winner of American Prize professional soloist. Also, She won First prize of Music International grand Prix Adult string, Third prize of chamber category of Music International Grand Prix in Merkin Recital hall, Lincoln Center, NYC.
Dan is also a new music promoter. She promotes living composers’ works including female, LGBTQ, AAPI, etc. She is the violinist of a violin-cello duo “Mirror 2 Mirror” that values passionate performances, collaborations, and making modern music more approachable for today’s audiences. M2M strives to represent living composers and to advocate for their music through dramatic performances and electrifying stage presence. M2M has given several world premieres in New York City featuring original music. M2M has been selected as Semifinalist of the American Prize Ernst Bacon Memorial Award.
