Hong Kong born Chi Hoi Jimmy Cheung is an emerging young artist with a versatile career as a concert pianist, an educator, and a collaborative pianist.

Cheung’s passion for teaching began to arise when he was a student in London, where he ran a popular studio with students from all age groups and levels. He has successfully motivated numerous students to achieve their full potential through years of thoughtful and inspiring teaching. Outside of running his studios, he has also been invited to teach the Passes and Lessons Scholarship Program at the Aspen Music Festival and Schools, and has served as adjudicator for local music festivals.
Cheung holds a Master of Music with Distinction and a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honors degrees from the Royal College of Music in London. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree on full scholarship at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, with a cognate in Piano Pedagogy. An active collegiate member of MTNA, he was recently elected as Publicity Officer for the MTNA-CCM Chapter.
