Cincinnati Music Academy is offering group class instruction for beginners. Students who have no experience with music or guitar are welcome. These are low pressure and socially engaging classes. Students who do not own a guitar can pay an additional fee to rent a guitar for the duration of the class. The classes are 55 minutes long.

Class Description:

Classes are geared towards towards adult students who are new to the guitar. Teenagers are welcome as well.

  • Acoustic or electric guitar
  • Jump start learning independently or prepare for private lessons
  • Learn to play chords, songs, strum, scales, fingerpick, and more
  • Get an introduction to rock, blues, jazz, folk and other popular styles


The Spring session of classes start April 19th at 1:00. Classes are each Sunday. Please contact us for more details.


$200 – includes 8 55-minute classes and materials
