Although Ms. Park has been groomed in a competitive environment, she believes studying music helps develop each person’s own distinctive talent and personality. She knows that every musician starts as a beginner, and if it wasn’t for patient and nurturing teachers, we would have very few professional musicians in the world.
Ms. Park grew up in musical family – her mother is a pianist who is still enthusiastic about learning. Her brother is studying accounting, but won a prize at an international competition on classical guitar. He was also volunteered teaching classical guitar at church. Her father teaches landscape architecture at a university, and started to learn to play the saxophone at age 58. His dream is to give a “family concert” when he retires. Having been raised in such a musically rich environment, Ms. Park believes playing music enriches life.

Furthermore, her performance and interview was introduced to MBC FM radio in Korea. As a soloist and chamber musician, she performed at Carnegie Hall, Kilbourn Hall, Shanghai Conservatory Hall, Beijing University Hall, Czech Art Center and more.
Ms. Park earned a Bachelor of Music with a prestigious Performer’s Certificate at Eastman School of Music under Prof. Oleh Krysa. In addition, she was the recipient of the Howard Hanson Scholarship and Jemplis Scholarship.
