Two Sets of CMA Siblings Score Big at Queen City Music Fest

Musical talent often runs in the family. This is no exception when it comes to the Adams and Rosa Families! Siblings from both families participated in the November Queen City Music Fest and scored high marks for their piano playing. All four students take piano lessons at the Cincinnati Music Academy with Dr. Olga Rua.

The primary focus of The Queen City Music Fest is a quality evaluation program with an informal spirit for pre-college students. Students prepare a piece and are graded on their performance.  Preparing music for graded performance is one of the most beneficial parts of music lessons. It encourages time management, attention to detail, personal confidence, and the love of performing for an audience.

Lucy (12) and Donnie (15) Adams have taken lessons at CMA since September after relocating from Kentucky to Madeira. Their hard work and dedication have paid off in a very short amount of time! Helena (13) and Mercedes (11) also relocated to Cincinnati recently from Tennessee. Both sisters also play the violin and share a mutual love of music!
